An Endless Hike

Amidst the mountains and the trees so tall,
I embarked upon a journey, with no end at all.
A hike of self-discovery, a quest to find my way,
To understand the depths within me, and what I had to say.

The path ahead was steep and long,
But I felt a sense of purpose, a pull so strong.
My mind was clear, my heart was light,
And I knew this hike would be worth the fight.

As I walked through the forests, so vast and green,
I heard the whispers of nature, a sound so serene.
The chirping of the birds, the rustling of the leaves,
And the gushing of the rivers, brought me to my knees.

I saw the beauty that surrounded me, and I felt so small,
But I knew that this journey would answer my call.
I walked through the rain, and the scorching heat,
And with every step, my soul felt complete.

I encountered hurdles and obstacles along the way,
But I refused to give up, and I fought them every day.
I climbed the highest peaks, and crossed the raging streams,
And in the process, I discovered my wildest dreams.

I found strength in my weakness, and hope in my despair,
And I learned to appreciate life, and all that was fair.
I realized that the journey was not about the destination,
But about the moments that filled me with elation.

I found a connection with myself, and with the world around,
And I realized that my journey had only just begun.
For life is a constant hike, with twists and turns so true,
And the key to a fulfilled life, is to always stay true.

So I will continue my journey, through the valleys and the peaks,
And with every step, my soul will continue to seek.
I will embrace the beauty of the world, and the love that surrounds,
And I will never forget the lessons that I have found.
